The Presentation
In this presentation Mr. Jim Sebastian and Dr. Ronnie
Miller will provide an overview of the new First Nation
Schools Division “Ready-To-Use” program
initiative, focusing on the needs of First Nation students.
The presenters will explain the philosophy behind the
new program and provide concrete examples from the newly
developed Ready-To-Use English grade 10 Applied Program:
ENG2P. They will demonstrate the relevancy of the program
to First Nation students and provide the participants
with samples of course outlines, lesson plans, unit
plans and assessment plans based entirely on Aboriginal
literature.
This presentation is
a must for all First Nation educators and administrators.
